Ahead of Team Sonic Racing’s launch earlier this year, Sega released another 2D animation series to advertise the game, subtitled Overdrive. It proved an instant hit, carrying over the same sense of slapstick comedy as Sonic Mania Adventures while retaining just as many cute call-backs to Sonic’s past.
As yet another festive treat for fans, Sega has put out a video showing a side-by-side comparison of the finished product and the earlier animatics. Anyone who’s the least bit interested in Sonic or animation in general should definitely check it out!
