Mario Kart Tour has begun beta testing its previously-announced real-time multiplayer online mode, available now to subscribers to the game’s Gold Pass membership service (including those partaking in the free trial).
Details can be found on the official Mario Kart Tour website, which warns players to recognize the beta may include known or unknown bugs and can drain players’ devices’ batteries quicker than usual.

Gold Pass members that are interested in trying out the mode can find it under “Menu” and “Multiplayer.”
There, players can either join a random lobby or create their own to play with friends; playable courses will be selected from the current-running event tour and will rotate every 30 minutes.
The beta is set to run until December 26th, 2019 at 9:59 p.m. PST.
