While they didn’t show up in the Direct, Nintendo has confirmed some new amiibo for later in 2019 and early next year! Leading the pack is a brand new Link’s Awakening Link amiibo, carrying that game’s art style and a sweet plastic shine. He’ll be available starting September 20th.
Alongside him, fans can pick up Ivysaur, Squirtle, and Solid Snake from the Super Smash Bros. line. Later in November Icineroar, Chrom, and Simon Belmont will joining the rest — and announced for early 2020 are Dark Samus and Richter Belmont. There are still some more fighters to go, including the just-announced Dragon Quest Hero and Banjo-Kazooie. Be on the lookout for more details and links (and Links) from Amiibo News.
