Today’s “Gotta Go Fast” panel at SXSW was mostly focused on Team Sonic Racing, but there were a few outliers, and oddly two of the most significant are based around the classic Sonic 3 & Knuckles. First up we have a brand new remix of Knuckles’ old theme from Tee Lopes with guitar backing from Jun Senoue, give it a listen:
That’s not all though, on top of updating the official Sega Shop with Team Sonic Racing goodies (including a fantastic Froggy shirt), a new mug is available, based on the infamous Barrel of Doom of Sonic 3’s Carnival Night Zone. Its confusing mechanics plagued many childhoods, and now you can bring those memories rushing back alongside your morning cup of joe.
