We’ve been playing Fire Emblem Heroes constantly since its release, and in that time we’ve seen characters both loved and obscure come to the game, along with a host of seasonal alts and player voted variations. Still, not everyone can possibly make it in. Some original characters from the game’s story haven’t made it to players’ hands yet, and other times additions that feel like they’d make perfect sense just don’t pan out.

Still, fans seem to get an annual chance to make their voices directly heard with the Choose Your Legend votes and just like a last year a new batch of Heroes join the game based on placing well but not great in the same batch of voting that got us our Brave characters this year. Have a look to see who made the cut:

Having placed tenth overall and a constant figure in the Book II story, Loki takes up her staff and plenty of trickery. With an extra unique weapon that impedes movement from long range, she adds a new and unique niche to steadily growing class of character. Finally ready to leave Ram Village, Kliff from Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia joins his childhood friends as a Hero. He managed to place 33rd, which doesn’t sound quite high but shows just how many of the characters between him and Loki’s spot are already present and accounted for.

But one shining example of a Hero stood amongst them, resting at 26th with a hand that never ceases to hunger. Taking up the Missiletainn and ready to unleash an all new special technique, Owain enters the fray where his blood can boil freely. This popular Fire Emblem: Awakening character looks to have quite the skillset, though to bring out the most of his Blue Flame it appears he actually does need some aid…

They’ll come to the game starting October 23rd, though just like last year’s batch of runner ups another well placing character will be free for players. Unlike Joshua’s run as a Tempest Trial reward, Aversa (placing 41st) will come as a Grand Hero Battle prize if you can best her specific map. Good luck securing these long awaited faces, and be on the lookout for something Legendary before the month is up.
