For those in Europe waiting for Minecraft to come to the Nintendo 3DS, now is your time to shine! The official Twitter account has announced that the sandbox game has finally made its way to the PAL region after already being available in the US for almost exactly one year. (Make sure to take note of the update about Minecraft’s release in the subtweet following the initial announcement.)
UPDATE ABOUT THE, ER, UPDATE – Whoops, looks like we got a little ahead of ourselves! The 3DS update/European release will now be happening a little later worldwide. 9/19 7PM PST, 9/20 2AM UTC and 9/20 4AM CET. Check the eShop then and enjoy the update!

It’s nice to hear a huge update has come to the game alongside the news! There’s no better reason to jump back into the world, or start playing Minecraft on 3DS for the very first time, than by enjoying some new content.
