Good Smile has been absolutely killing it when it comes to adapting the Kirby series into its Nendoroid line of figures. The original Kirby, Meta Knight and the upcoming Blue Kirby all come with multiple accessories and a unique, spherical design with magnets keeping their not-so-standard limbs in place. They’re some of my favorite collectibles and they’re completely worth the shelf space.
My collection might have to really make some room though, because the next figure is going to be a big one. Representing the 3DS’ Planet Robobot, this new Kirby set comes with not just the pink puff, but his rideable mech from that particular handheld adventure. A new blog post from Good Smile offers plenty of pictures, showing off the shiny finish and just how big this thing is compared to most Nendoroids.
Best of all, the mech comes with a Kirby Nendoroid! It might not have all the accessories from the standard design and only has one face style, but it’s still a whole extra figure along with the mech.
