This morning’s Pokémon Direct may have been short in time, but it was certainly not short on content. Following the trailer for Pokkén Tournament DX, footage from the brand new titles, Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, was shown. The footage was quick, but it showed off some new clothing for the player characters, as well as what looks to be new forms for Solgaleo and Lunala.
Game Freak’s Junichi Masuda stopped by the Direct to explain just a few details about these new entries in the Pokémon series. Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon take place in the world of Pokémon Sun & Moon, but with an alternate story featuring Pokémon not seen in the original versions. He also hinted that there are new features that allow you to enjoy your adventure even more.
Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon will have a simultaneous, worldwide release on the 3DS family of systems on November 17th, 2017.
