Perhaps the tease of this summer being legendary for Pokémon GO can be applied to other areas of the game. Amongst all the news that Apple dropped at WWDC17 today, one interesting little detail was shared about Apple’s foray into AR (AR Kit).
From Engadget, “We also got a glimpse at an even more realistic version of Pokémon GO — the OG AR app — made possible via AR Kit.”

Niantic has been sending out tweets about sharing photos taken with the AR camera in the last few months. Perhaps it was ramping up the fanbase for a major new upgrade? Hopefully it will debut around a legendary event so we can take some amazing photos of our team’s iconic legendaries!
