Celebrate Pokémon Day (February 27th) when you play Pokémon GO by catching a themed Pikachu decked out in a party hat! Simply sign into the game on your mobile device and start searching for the electric ‘mon on February 26th at 1:00 p.m. PST. Any Pika you come across will be donning the hat; and after you catch it you’ll never have to worry about the unique look disappearing, for he’ll keep his hat forever with you.
While we don’t have any images of what the Pikachu will look like yet, we can’t help but have fun speculating.
Make sure to get out there to capture this “special edition” Pokémon before the event ends on March 6th at 1:00 p.m. PST. You won’t want to let this little guy slip away!
