Planning on taking your Pokémon for a stroll next week? You may find your journey a lot more romantic than you bargained for, as the game will be celebrating Valentine’s Day throughout the next week with a new event.
In-keeping with the sugar-fest that is the holiday, you’ll earn double the Candy from catching, hatching and transferring Pokémon. Not only that but your Buddy will gather the sugary treats twice as fast.
Various pink and adorable Pokémon will become more common too, with Clefable and Chansey specifically name-dropped in the announcement. Likewise, Igglybuff, Cleffa and Smoochum will be more likely to hatch from your eggs. Finally, Lure Modules will last for 6 hours while the event is on-going.
The celebration will last from 11:00 A.M. PST on February 8, 2017 to 11:00 A.M. PST on February 15, 2017.
