Remember when the 3DS was first introduced? I know, it’s been a long time, but think as hard as you can. Way back in 2011, Nintendo showcased some amazing features for the 3DS, including the ability to download movies and TV shows right on the handheld. With the exception of streaming video apps like Netflix and Hulu, the 3DS has been lacking a means to purchase and download video content. Well my friends, that’s about the change.
Nintendo has announced via Miiverse that downloadable movies and TV shows will be coming soon to the 3DS through the Anime Channel.
While a release date has not been given, you can expect to see some content getting added to the channel soon. Which titles are you hoping to see? Let us know in the comment section below!
