Just in time for the one-year anniversary of Splatoon’s launch in Japan, both a Squid Sisters CD and some fresh, new merchandise have been announced for release overseas.
“Splatoon Live in Makuhari” will include every track originally performed at January’s live concert event, as well as two new songs: “Tokimeki ☆ Bomb Rush” and “Sumisoae no Yoru.”
Also featured on the album is a demo version of “High-Color Sinker / City of Color” from Splatune, the game’s official soundtrack CD.
“Splatoon Live in Makuhari” will also come with a booklet, label and jacket illustrated with exclusive artwork by Splatoon art director Seita Inoue.
Among the new merch announced by Nintendo are Tatoroka and Tentatek-branded T-shirts, hats, armbands and tote bags from video game clothing company EDITMODE.
While the merchandise has been given a broad “July” release date, the live Squid Sisters album will be arriving in Japan on July 13th.
