Well, this is a little unusual. According to data miner Random Talking Bush on Twitter, the only character to be affected by the upcoming 1.1.6 Super Smash Bros. patch is everyone’s favorite sassy witch, Bayonetta.
After unpacking the files, "param/fighter_param_vl_bayonetta.bin" and "fighter/bayonetta/script/animcmd/game.bin" are the only two changed.

The patch is currently stored on Nintendo’s servers, explaining why people are able to data mine it before it is officially made available.
Those who want specifics should check out @thatsmash4modder‘s latest tweets, which go into the exact changes to Bayonetta’s statistics. In general it seems like she has been nerfed quite a bit, with reduced damage for many of her attacks and smaller hit boxes.
We’ll be sure to bring you more info if there are more characters affected by the patch, but for now it seems like Bayonetta players will have a lot to get used to when the update is released.
