The cheapest way for Nintendo fans to gain access to the large catalogue of 3DS titles is about to get a little cheaper. On May 20th, Nintendo is dropping the suggested price of the 2DS by a whopping 20%. This takes the already cheap system down from $99.99 to $79.99.

Not only does this create an extremely cheap entry point to the world of 3DS titles available, but it also makes a great, cheap system even more accessible for parents of young children who want to play kid-friendly 3DS titles like Pokémon, Animal Crossing or Yoshi’s New Island.

Nintendo’s 2DS is a member of the 3DS family of systems. Released in October 2013, it allows gamers to play 3DS titles in 2D for a cost lower than a traditional 3DS.
