Google is no stranger to video game themed Easter Eggs; who can forget the massive April Fools Pokémon Challenge of 2014? Even still, this new one is a bit of a surprise. To celebrate the launch of Twilight Princess HD, Google Maps‘ little yellow pegman has been replaced by the green garbed hero himself: Link!
Unfortunately, as far as we can tell there are no unique animations or sound effects that play when moving Link around, but it’s definitely a cute little nod to one of Nintendo’s biggest franchises.
