Nintendo Accounts are now available!
For months, Nintendo has been talking about and hyping up its soon-to-come Nintendo Accounts system and rewards system after the closure of Club Nintendo. Now, finally, they’re available!
While there’s no clear use for them yet, we do have an idea of what these accounts will entail in the near future. These accounts will be integrated with the NX, Nintendo’s mobile gaming, and any other platform or gaming plans they have for the future, with all of it being very much integrated.
Nintendo fans in Japan were given the opportunity to sign up for these accounts towards the end of 2015, but it wasn’t available to anyone else outside the country. Signup is now available globally, with sign-ins possible from Facebook, Google Plus or Twitter. You can even use your current Nintendo Network ID to log in! However, if you want to create an entirely new account, that’s also possible.
Nintendo Accounts is undoubtedly going to be important in the Nintendo world soon, so make sure to sign up as soon as you can! While services are limited right now, that’s sure to change quickly.
