The Good Smile Company is at it again, bringing more adorable Nintendo Nendoroid products to the fold. Hot off the heels of the announced Champion Red figure coming soon to the Pokémon Center online store, a pair based on Ken Sugimori’s original designs of Red and Green will be released in Japan this summer. With detailing like the original badge designs, simple yet expressive faces, and the accompanying Mew accessory, these stand out even among other Pokémon Nedoroid figures. The amount of nostalgia coming off of the duo is incredible and they’re sure to please fans old and new alike.
Pre-orders will be opening February 27th, with the pair only available as a set. Along with Mew they’ll come with a Poké Ball for the each of them (so two in total) and the Nendoroid standards of interchangeable faces and limbs for those eager to customize. As a Japan-exclusive item as of this writing, they’ll only be available from import sites, with a retail price of 7,500 yen or about $64, and a release date set for July 9th.
