BOXBOY!, the hit indie game in the 3DS Shop that had players controlling an adorable square-shaped hero named Qbby, has officially been given a sequel. Though it hasn’t been advertised or talked about much by Nintendo, this new addition comes as no surprise, considering how charming and fun the first one was.
The sequel has been dubbed BOXBOY! One More Box, and in it, the player regains control of Qbby, who now has the ability to release two boxes. You’ll aim to overcome obstacles in creative and clever ways using the boxes Qbby releases just as you did in the original. The gameplay looks to have kept its simplistic and easy style, while still being challenging enough for more veteran players to stay entertained.
The game is available on Japan’s 3DS eshop for 630 yen. There’s no word yet on whether or not it will see a North American release.
