Just today, Amazon has announced the top ten games in its editorially picked Amazon Games: Best of 2015 list. Nintendo fans will be happy to see two titles in particular among the games.

It should come as no surprise to people who have been following all the news revolving around Super Mario Maker that the title has claimed the number one spot on Amazon’s list. With the game garnering so much positive attention due to its initial richness in content and its popular stream of constant free updates for players, Super Mario Maker has already become a true classic in an already successful series.
It’s been somewhat of a turbulent year for Nintendo. Certain games, like Star Fox Zero and the new Zelda game, were pushed back, disappointing fans, while other games, like Super Mario Maker and Splatoon, totally took the well deserved spotlight among all console releases. Seeing those two titles claim spots on such an influential retailer’s top ten list is definitely a nice way to ring in the new year.
