It looks like something big is coming. Nintendo of America’s Senior Manager of Licensing and Marketing Damon Baker made a live appearance during the 6th annual Nintendo World Report live podcast telecast. During the event, Baker teased an upcoming announcement for this coming Monday.
“Speaking of announcements, I wish I could tell you guys, but stay tuned for Monday. Monday there’s going to be something… something happening on Monday. It’s going to be big.”
We know that we’re expecting news on the upcoming Smash Bros. Direct so this could very well be pointing to that. However, could we possibly see an announcement for something bigger? Leaked information has shown that Nintendo is preparing for mass production of the NX shortly, so an announcement of an official name for the new system isn’t out of the realm of possibility.
