There’s no word yet on when the items will reach Animal Crossing players in the West. We’ll make sure to share any news with you regarding the items as soon as we get wind of it!
Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer allows players to upload their custom house designs online, and just recently, a very interesting house was spotted in a YouTube video (discovered by Nintendo Actu that has since been removed by Nintendo). The video clearly displayed video game themed items not yet made available to the public. Vivid images of consoles like the 3DS and the Wii U, along with shelves of amiibo and video games, were among the Nintendo products spotted in the house creation.
The items displayed in the screenshots are currently unaccessible in the game and are not present in the Happy Home Designer book/guide that has been released. It’s likely that the items are located on game cartridges but are not yet accessible until Nintendo allows them to be unlocked in a possible future DLC pack. The same has gone for previously released DLC for other games, such as Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros.
Needless to say, these video game items raise the hype even more for the most recent popular Animal Crossing release. We’re looking forward to learning more about how and when they’ll finally be accessible!
