In a move that is sure to please Nintendo fans, the company has revealed its plans to continue publishing Nintendo Direct videos.
“Nintendo Directs will continue,” Nintendo stated in an interview with media news giant IGN. “But we have no details to provide now on who will be featured or the topics that will be covered.”
Nintendo Directs, which have focused on providing gamers with information about new software, hardware, and more sporadically throughout the year, were usually hosted by the late Satoru Iwata, who passed away earlier this summer.
Since Iwata’s death and the noticeable absence of Nintendo Directs, fans have speculated his passing marked the end of the popular video series.
Fortunately for Nintendo gamers, the company has now put those fears to rest.
What are your thoughts? Is there anyone in particular you’d like to see hosting Nintendo Directs in the future? Let us know in the comments below!
