Amiibo hunters looking to build a complete collection can rest easy: the Japanese R.O.B. amiibo will be hitting shelves in Japan late next month.
While other regions are due their own version of the R.O.B. amiibo, Japan’s R.O.B. will sport a slightly different color scheme based on the actual Japanese R.O.B. accessory released in 1985. Western gamers received the Nintendo Entertainment System in the mid-‘80s, and Japan was given it a bit earlier as the Family Computer. Appropriately, Japan’s R.O.B. accessory for the Famicom was based around its colors: red and off-white as opposed to the NES’ black and gray.
The Japanese R.O.B. amiibo will be available at retailers overseas on October 29th. Will you be importing or picking one up to add to your amiibo crew? Let us know in the comments below!
