If you’re a Wii U owner, and for some unfathomable reason have yet to try out Splatoon, keep reading. This weekend, Nintendo will be holding Summer Splatdown, the first post-release Testfire of its inky shooter. Would-be inklings can download the Splatoon Testfire software now on the Wii U eShop in preparation for the appointed trial times.
The Splatdown will take place from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. PST this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Participants will have access to 4-vs-4 Turf War battles, and get a taste for the colorful ink that has hooked over 1.5 million players worldwide. We have nothing but praise for Splatoon and its entirely new take on competitive shooters; don’t hesitate to give it a whirl!
