Nintendo of Japan has released over nine minutes of new footage showing off the all-new Fire Emblem If for Nintendo 3DS. Included in the video are footage of the new gameplay mechanics and an in-depth look at the new Castle Mode.
Castle Mode allows players to create shops and customize their very own castles. Players can customize the exteriors and interiors of their castles to create their own unique styles. They’ll also be able to visit other castles via StreetPass to purchase weapons and items that might not be available in their own games.
Today’s Nintendo (of Japan) Direct also announced that the title would be supporting the current Fire Emblem amiibo characters Ike, Robin, Marth and Lucina.
Fire Emblem If will be released in Japan later this year. More details will be provided as we get closer to release.
