When it comes to the hierarchy of Pokémon, Legendary Pokémon are almost always on top. Even in a game like Pokopia where all sorts of different Pokémon get to interact in new and interesting ways, Legendaries tend to be reserved for cinematic story moments. That being said, that’s not entirely true, as many of them can later be invited as permanent residents, including Raikou, Entei, and Suicune! The game doesn’t explain how to do this, so read ahead to find out how to add these Legendary beasts to your very own bustling towns.

The process to find the Johto beasts is thankfully relatively simple to understand, although it will likely take quite a bit of time. These Pokémon can be found randomly on Dream Islands, with Raikou, Entei, and Suicune being found at the islands corresponding to the Pikachu, Arcanine, and Eevee dolls respectively. Whether or not they will be there is entirely up to chance on any given day, so the only thing that can be done is to just check back every day and hope you get lucky.

To tell if one of them is present, open the Pokédex upon arriving at the island. Set the registration status to “All” and the location to “In this area” and then press Y to filter. If the list only displays Ditto and Drifloon, that means they aren’t there. If the list shows Raikou or a “?” icon in addition to those two, that means it’s time to start searching! They’ll always be found deep in a cave somewhere on the island, usually behind some cracked sandstone. Once you’ve successfully found them, simply speak to them and have them return to Drifloon with you.

Once you leave the island, they will be following you and are ready to be moved into a permanent home of their own, so make sure to have an extra habitat to spare! Then, simply repeat this process of checking on Dream Islands each day until all three of them are added to your collection. It’s possible to skip the date forward in the settings to make this process quicker, but if you’d rather just take it one day at a time that works fine as well. Whichever way you go about it, sooner or later all three of them will be roaming around town as a proper part of the community.
