One of the earliest mechanics Pokémon Pokopia introduces is the ability to visit special Dream Islands with the help of Drifloon and Pokémon dolls. While at first these islands might seem like unremarkable little areas without much to do, they’re actually one of the best ways to gather resources in the game! That’s not all though, as they also come with plenty of rare items and even the opportunity to encounter Legendary Pokémon. If you’re looking for any specific resources and aren’t sure where to look, read ahead to see what the various Dream Islands have available!
Eevee doll
The first doll the player is likely to encounter is the Eevee doll. The Dream Island associated with this doll is similar to the Withered Wastelands, with many basic materials and blocks such as stone, small logs, and squishy clay abundantly available. While the available resources here are fairly standard, it can be a good place to visit if you’re in need of a lot of field grass or ordinary soil for flattening out an area to build on. Furthermore, there’s a chance to encounter the Legendary Pokémon Suicune here, so keep an eye out if you haven’t already found them!
Pikachu doll
Continuing the trend of the dolls representing specific areas, the Pikachu doll Dream Island is based on the Bleak Beach. This makes it an incredible source of seashells, sea glass fragments, and beach sand among other things. There’s two kinds of flowers available here as well, with both the seashore flowers and the cute flowers being found here in all of their colors. Much like the previous island, the Pikachu doll Dream Island also has a chance of a legendary encounter, that being Raikou in this case.

Clefairy doll
Next in the sequence of areas would be the Clefairy doll, which takes the player to a Dream Island reminiscent of Rocky Ridges. The main perk of this island are the available ores, with copper, iron, gold, and even Pokémetal ores being scattered around the caves in this area. This island is actually the only one without a Legendary Pokémon available to be found, so simply gather any ores, flowers, or blocks you might want and feel free to head home.
Arcanine doll
One might think the next doll would be based on the Sparkling Skylands, but actually the Arcanine doll Dream Island is also based on the Rocky Ridges area. While the Clefairy doll primarily consists of open grassy areas, the Arcanine doll features a central volcano structure and many of the related items. This means an abundance of volcanic ash, lava rock, glowing stone, and a good amount of iron and gold ores. As one might guess for an area based on a volcano, this is where the final Johto beast Entei can sometimes be found!
Dragonite doll
The final unique Dream Island is based on the Sparkling Skylands and can be visited by interacting with the Dragonite doll. While the resources available here aren’t especially unique besides an abundance of wastepaper, there’s a good variety of flowers and naturally placed furniture around. Be sure to check out the various structures around and pick up anything that might be useful for some of the more complex habitats the Sparkling Skylands introduces, and keep an eye out for Mewtwo, the final Legendary Pokémon to be found on Dream Islands.
Ditto doll & Substitute doll
Despite the Dragonite doll being the last unique Dream Island, there are actually two more dolls, those being the Ditto doll and the Substitute doll. These two are simply random, taking the player to one of the five other Dream Islands at random. While it’s probably preferable to choose which island you’d like to visit directly, it can be fun to just see where the wind takes you, so keep these two in mind if that sounds fun.

As can be seen, the Dream Islands make for an elegant way to renewable gather materials from the various areas around the game. Whether it be natural blocks for building purposes, flowers and hedges for decorating, raw materials for crafting, or whatever else one might need, having the option to gather as much as is needed is really nice. The Dream Islands reset each day, so all of the available items will be fully replenished with no consequences. Next time you find yourself in need of something specific, consider calling over Drifloon to make the process easier!
