With the return to the Kalos region in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, that naturally means that clothes shopping has returned in full-force as well. Pokémon X and Y were the first games to introduce character customization to the series, and naturally Z-A had to follow suit with a whole host of clothing stores scattered across Lumiose City. That said, the prices of many of these items are incredibly high, and so it can seem quite daunting to go shopping for a new outfit especially early on. Fortunately, there are quite a few affordable places to go shopping despite this!
Where to find Passage du Palais
Unsurprisingly, the first shopping center that many players will encounter is by far the most affordable. The Passage du Palais is located right above Wild Zone 4, and the prices here never go above 5,000 Poké Dollars, making it by far the best place to shop in the very early game. If you’re just starting your playthrough and want to change up your looks, be sure to check here first!
Where to find Passage de la Félicité
The next most affordable area to shop is the Passage de la Félicité, which can be found just north of the Bleu Pokémon Center. There’s only seven shops here, but the prices tend to be fairly reasonable across the board. Most items here go for less than 10,000 Poké Dollars, with the exception of the white Chunky Sneakers at In the Zone, which go for a whopping 100,000 Poké Dollars.
Where to find Passage Ombragé and Promenade du Vent
If the previous two don’t have what you’re looking for, Passage Ombragé is the next best place to check when shopping. To find it, look for a wide building complex northeast of Quasartico Inc. The prices here are comparable to the Passage de la Félicité, but with a whopping 14 stores available to check. Just be wary of Wisp, which has two 100,000 Poké Dollar items for sale.
Once you’ve got a decent amount of spending money built up, it might be worth checking out the Promenade du Vent, which consists of the five stores south of the Vernal Pokémon Center. Across the board the options here aren’t too much more expensive than anything before, though a handful of items do run for over 10,000 Poké Dollars, so it’s definitely a notable increase.
Where to find Galerie de la Lune
Lastly comes by far the most expensive area to shop in all of Lumiose City, the Galerie de la Lune. This shopping center can be found deceptively early, just north of the Centrico Pokémon Center, but has some of the most expensive items in the entire game. Expect to be spending tens of thousands of Poké Dollars for almost anything here, with the last 100,000 Poké Dollar item found at the Masterpiece store.
That’s all of the shopping centers scattered across Lumiose City! Across the board most of them are fairly affordable throughout the early-to-mid-game, with only one that is truly absurdly expensive. If you’re looking to expand your wardrobe but don’t know where best to go without breaking the bank, this should give a decent idea of where to look first.
