Originally introduced in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, the terrifying Alpha Pokémon make their return in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. These supersized special Pokémon make for very popular Shiny hunting targets, and that is especially true in Z-A thanks to Wild Zone 20. Unlike most locations, the two spots in the center of this area contain completely random Alpha species, with a total of 67 possible Pokémon that can appear here. That makes this area very fun to try and find a Shiny at, but with only two available at a time, it can be somewhat tedious. That was until a glitch was discovered that can increase the number of Alphas that spawn here!
Step 1
The method listed here comes from a video shared by Austin John Plays, and the steps will reflect the most consistent setup detailed in said video. The very first thing to do is head to the Centrico Pokémon Center and go into Wild Zone 20 from the nearby gate. Go ahead and clear out any Pokémon standing beside the path heading towards the center of the area. Once that is taken care of, go ahead and rest at one of the nearby benches to give you a full day or night to perform the glitch.

Step 2
The next step is to head to the center of the area and get the attention of the two Alpha Pokémon there. It may be required to sleep at the bench again to spawn two different Alphas, as some Pokémon that prefer ranged attacks will tend not to follow the player. Lead the two Alphas north towards the exit, and once they get close to the small stream go ahead and run to the gate before they have time to go back to the center. Save the game as soon as you exit the Wild Zone.

Step 3
Reload the game after saving and now the two Alphas should be standing near the stream instead of the center of the area. Head back into the Wild Zone and this time lure them to the gate, once again saving and reloading after exiting with them both standing next to the entrance.

Step 4
Now both of the Alphas should be standing at the gate to the Wild Zone. Open the map and place a pin on the gate where they are standing, and then walk north along Rouge Street until the distance reads around 60m. Save and reload the game here, and the Alphas should still be at the gate when you walk back towards the Wild Zone. If they are gone, try going slightly less far away next time or getting them closer to the gate.

Repeat
With that initial setup taken care of, the next step is to repeat the above process with more Alpha Pokémon. There should now be two new Alphas standing in their usual spot in the middle, while the two that were lured out remain at the gate. Repeat the process of luring the new ones to the gate and saving 60m away, taking care not to get too far away from the exit so as to not despawn the two that were lured out previously. This process can be repeated until there are around six Alphas standing at the gate, though sometimes it can be difficult to get all six of them to cooperate.

Final Step
Once you’re happy with the number of Alpha Pokémon standing by the entrance to the Wild Zone, go ahead and walk in and let them attack you until you black out. Fast travelling also works, but being knocked out is preferred as it won’t trigger an auto-save, so it is a slightly safer option in case something goes wrong. Now once you return, all of the Alphas should be standing in the center of the area where they would usually be, which is exactly what you want!

With that, it’s safe to go ahead and Shiny hunt the Alphas by fast traveling and checking them repeatedly. All of them will be completely new Pokémon each time the area is reloaded, so this massively increases the odds that a Shiny will appear. Just bear in mind that once any of them are knocked out or caught, they will not be replaced until the total drops back down to two, at which point the setup will have to be done again.
