Today had yet another deluge of Pokémon Sun & Moon news, with a new trailer showing off new gameplay features and the long-awaited starter evolutions. It hasn’t taken the Pokémon Company long to schedule its next news drop, however, with the official Japanese site giving a date – October 14th.

It will air at the same times as usual:

  • 6 a.m. PST
  • 9 a.m. EST
  • 2 p.m. for the U.K.
  • 3 p.m. for Europe
  • What makes this date a little unusual is that it breaks tradition – almost all of the Sun & Moon updates have arrived on a Tuesday, but the 14th is a Friday. It’s too early to say why they’ve decided to switch it up, but it’s not a long wait to find out.

Whether it’s an exciting new entry in a series long established or a weird experiment meant only for the dedicated, Tom is eager to report on it. Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
