Hailing from eastern Oregon, Abbie is an aspiring data scientist with a passion for animals and video games.

Prior to joining the Nintendo Wire team, Abbie worked part-time in the food service industry as a barista. In late 2020, she relocated to Arizona and spent time as a writer and administrator for an online gaming community before returning to Oregon two years later.

Abbie has spent the majority of her life playing Nintendo games. From the moment she received a DS for Christmas when she was six years old, Abbie’s life has been consistently punctuated by classics from that time. Nowadays her absolute favorite franchises are Xenoblade Chronicles, Dragon Quest, Pokémon, Metroid, and the Super Smash Bros. series.
