Former Nintendo President Satoru Iwata was not only an integral part of the company itself, but also its community, fostering a connection through regular Nintendo Direct appearances and published interviews up until he passed away in July, 2015.
Now, some of Iwata’s writings are going to be compiled in physical form by Hobonichi, the planner company formed by Mother series creator Shigesato Itoi. The cover has been revealed in a tweet from Hobonichi director and former Famitsu contributor Yasuhiro Nagata. Take a look:
#岩田さん pic.twitter.com/YBGDPVY3ye

As Tiny Cartridge reports, the book will “feature Iwata’s words originally published on Hobonichi’s Japanese blog and Nintendo’s site.”
While we don’t yet know if the book will be translated into other languages, several of the Iwata Asks interviews with developers were localized as they were released. If a western release is confirmed, we’ll be sure to let you know!
