The rumors were true! Konami has just announced that three collections of classic gaming franchises are coming to the Nintendo Switch later this year.
Dubbed the Anniversary Collection, each pack contains loads of classic games to choose from. The first one, Arcade Classics, launches on April 18th and features Haunted Castle, Typhoon, Nemesis (Gradius), Vulcan Venture (Gradius 2), Life Force, Thunder Cross, Scramble, and Twin Bee. The collection will be available as a digital purchase only for $19.99.
Next up we have the Castlevania Collection. This one features Castlevania, Castlevania: III Dracula’s Curse, Castlevania II: Belmont’s Revenge (Game Boy), and Super Castlevania IV. Also included are four yet to be announced titles. (Here’s hoping for Symphony of the Night!) Expect it to launch in early summer!
Finally, we have Contra. This collection features the original Contra, Super Contra, Super C, Contra III: The Alien Wars, and four additional titles as well. This one launches early Summer 2019 as a digital download!
