The childlike innocence and dreamy nature of Kirby is in full effect with this latest piece of anniversary merchandise. Celebrating a quartet of songs from various titles, this hand-cranked, paper tape music box looks and sounds absolutely adorable.

By inserting the four, different paper tape tracks into the music box, the star shaped holes punched into them will cause the music box to play familiar Kirby songs. Whether you can’t get enough of the original Green Greens, want to take to the stars of Rainbow Resort, have to take on Dedede in a Gourmet Race, or want to celebrate Kirby and his friends’ Return to Dream Land, there’s some magic to be found here.

That handcrafted look, featuring the same kind of burnt wood feel of the Japanese Super Star Box, completes the package and makes for a unique piece of merchandise to decorate shelves or liven up your desk. Pre-orders are open now, and should remain so until February 28th, with the box and tape going for about $88. Anyone still looking for a unique piece for the anniversary celebration, this just might be the one.
