Samus is already getting herself a game and an amiibo this year, so what would it hurt to add a console to that list? Just announced today, there will be a Samus themed New 3DS XL launched complete with artwork of the bounty hunter herself on the top of the console and the series-identifying Screw Attack symbol on its underside.
Most striking of all though is the color itself. This two-toned design comes modeled after the iconic power suit, with the top a vibrant red-orange and the underside veering closer to a burnt yellow. It’s a great and fitting tribute, and will launch alongside Metroid: Samus Returns and its amiibo on September 15th.
