Later this month, the 3DS and 2DS family will have some new additions: the New Nintendo 2DS XL will be available, along with Miitopia and Hey! Pikmin. In anticipation of those, here at Nintendo Wire we spotted that Nintendo made the full sites for Miitopia and Hey! Pikmin live.
Over at Miitopia, you will find the Mii assigned to your My Nintendo account hiding throughout the site, but only if you’re logged in — cute gesture, especially given the nature of the game. If you’re looking to add some Miis to your library, then as of right now there’s a couple QR codes of Miis made for the site.
If you have yet to experiment with the demo that was released last month during E3, then don’t worry! The site is broken up into the main parts of the game, as well as an amiibo page showing off all the amiibo that are compatible and the outfits they unlock. (Please excuse me while I figure out how to make the perfect Mii to rock Ganondorf’s looks and be assigned the Pop Star class…)
As for Hey! Pikmin, it’s similar to the Japanese site when it comes to information. Due to the recent My Nintendo rewards, Nintendo is advertising that players who opt for the digital version of the game have enough gold coins for the Pikmin Short Movies. The site is set up with easing new players into the world of Pikmin — introducing what types of Pikmin can aid Olimar on his quest in this adventure, how to play the game, an amiibo section, and lastly, how to buy the game.
One thing is for sure, the official graphics used here are super cute, and I’m already itching to make some digital wallpapers!
Will you be picking up Miitopia, Hey! Pikmin and/or the New Nintendo 2DS XL? Let us know!
