To celebrate Easter, that most egg-filled of holidays, Niantic kicked off a new event in Pokémon GO earlier this month focusing on all things ovoid. During the celebrations, Pokémon Eggs hatched quicker and offered up more candy, giving players of incentive to start incubating.

Now, via an official Facebook post, Niantic has confirmed that a whopping 87 million eggs hatched during the seven day period from April 13th to April 20th.

We’ll be sure to let you know when the next event kicks off in Pokémon GO.
