Grab your clubs, bat, cleats, racket, and…horse things. Mario Sports Superstars is a little over a month away, and for fans of Mushroom Kingdom competition it’s looking pretty solid. The promises of online competition and the variety that comes along with packing five sports into one game has me excited, and as an amiibo fan those new cards are going to be tempting.
Nintendo of Japan recently uploaded its opening movie to their YouTube page, giving brief looks at each event. Check it out below to get taken in by the familiar sound design of the Camelot-developed golf and tennis sections, or gaze in awe at the sight of Boo riding a horse.
Let us know which sport’s got you most fired up! Mario Sports Superstars is releasing March 24th on Nintendo 3DS. Packs of its series of amiibo cards will also launch that day, with copies of the game coming with one card at random. Fingers crossed I get Waluigi, the people’s champion.
