With a new Monster Hunter game heading to Japan soon it’s only natural that we get bombarded with strangely endearing cross-promotional collaboration costumes and weapons. This time a special costume based on Sailor Moon will be heading to Monster Hunter XX for the former’s 25th anniversary celebrations. Check out the trailer:
That’s right – your playable felyne will be able to dress up as Usagi’s faithful, if slightly judgemental, guardian cat; Luna! A new weapon will also be available, based on the Cutie Moon Rod.
Monster Hunter XX is an expanded version of Generations and will launch in Japan for 3DS on March 18th. A western release has not yet been confirmed.
