Ever since the Kirby 25th anniversary Twitter page was announced by HAL Laboratory on Sunday, we’ve been aching to get some sort of news about our favorite pink puffball. As it turns out, we didn’t have to wait all that long, as the page just shared a very curious image with the world earlier this morning.

Translated, the tweet reads: “Er …. I am testing the camera now. #Kirby’s 25th birthday”
How mysterious (and adorable)! Waddle Dee seems to be showing off a blurred image that appears behind him. From the look of it, the image could be displaying a wide range of things: a toy, a game, or maybe even another pop up shop, similar to this year’s Kirby Café. The possibilities are endless and, as usual, we’ll have to wait and see.
