The 3DS port of Dragon Quest VIII comes with quite a few changes compared to the PS2 original, from the removal of random encounters to more scenes fleshing out the backstory of various characters. Perhaps the biggest change, however, is the addition of two party members – Red and Morrie, who were simply NPCs in the original.
Nintendo has released a couple of trailers for both of them, showcasing what they bring to battle. Check them out:
