As is to be expected with anything in the digital age, it seems as if the price for the upcoming Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake has leaked ahead of tomorrow’s Nintendo Direct presentation. According to the Australian eShop (and spotted by Vooks – via Wario64), Ocarina will cost around $94.95 AUD digitally. That translates to roughly $59.99 USD or £49.99 GBP, which likely means the physical release will be $69.99 per Nintendo’s new policy.

While the price initially seems high, Australian game prices are a bit out of control this generation. It also lines up exactly with similar games, of which you can see that Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment goes for $109.95 AUD on the eShop. That’s around $69.99, which is what the game costs in the US.
I do expect this price to be legitimate, but you never know. I doubt Nintendo will consider dropping the price because of this leak, but you also can’t be 100% certain when store listings go live early. Sadly, the specific store page for Ocarina of Time does not have any extra information, so even though the price is out in the open, we can’t get any new details ahead of tomorrow’s presentation. The next 13 hours are going to be tough!
