Amazon has listed a massive new Pokémon Blu-ray collection, with every feature film from the anime franchise encased in a big Poké Ball.
Priced at $399.99 and exclusive to Amazon, there are a total of 24 films across 16 discs, with the combined runtime weighing in at a whopping 36 hours and 41 minutes. The Blu-rays are held in a fold-out cardboard booklet, which neatly slots in upright within the Poké Ball.
The case (stand included) is 11.87 inches high and 11.02 inches wide. There also appears to be a hardcover illustration book included with supplementary material.
The set is available to pre-order, though there is not yet a release date (the Amazon listing has a placeholder date of “December 31, 2099” at the time of writing).

All 24 films follow the adventures of Ash Ketchum, main protagonist of the Pokémon anime series, along with his faithful Pikachu. Ash’s 26-year journey began with the first episode in 1997 and ended with a finale in 2023, with a story unfolding over more than 1,300 episodes.
The series has since been rebooted with 2023’s Pokémon Horizons, which follows new protagonists Liko and Roy.
It’s an oddly eventful day for Poké Ball-themed news. Earlier, Nintendo Wire reported on how Pokémon fans in Japan can soon sleep inside a giant version of the critter-catching device, thanks to a collaboration between Pokémon Sleep and luxury vacation-home company Not a Hotel.
