As part of its ongoing collaboration with Capcom, Universal Studios Japan (USJ) has announced that new Resident Evil items are coming to the theme park.
The company revealed a popcorn bucket modeled after the iconic Licker creature, as well as shirts and bags themed around the Raccoon Police Department (RPD).
The popcorn bucket comes pre-filled with miso-flavored popcorn, which users can access by opening the Licker’s brain. It doubles as a celebratory item for both the 30th anniversary of Resident Evil and the 15th anniversary of Universal Studios Japan’s Halloween Horror Nights.
The shirts are black and feature the RPD emblem, while the bags are inspired by the Hip Pouches that expand the player’s inventory in the Resident Evil 2 and 3 remakes. The bags have a “three-way” design so that they can be used as a waist pouch, shoulder bag, or a chest bag.
These items are part of a broader collaboration between USJ and Capcom, which previously announced a limited-time theme park attraction called Resident Evil Requiem: The Dive. It will run at Stage 18 from September 11th, 2026 to December 27th, 2026 as part of USJ’s Halloween Horror Nights.
All items will be available at Universal Studios Japan in Osaka from September 9th, 2026. The Licker popcorn bucket will be available to purchase at the popcorn cart in front of Stage 22, while the RPD apparel will be sold at the Cinema 4-D Store.
USJ’s press release teased (via machine translation) that “Many other collaboration items will also be available,” and that the company would “continue to announce the latest fall updates, including ‘Halloween Horror Nights,’ as they become available.”
