If you’re eager to try out The Duskbloods for yourself, then today is possibly your lucky day. Developer FromSoftware was opened up applications for the game’s upcoming Network Test on its official website. You can now apply with your Nintendo Network account for a chance at testing the game early. You read that correctly: a chance.
Signing up doesn’t guarantee placement in the network test. Applications will be accepted between July 22nd, 2026, and July 28th, 2026. There’s some oddity with the website in that when you go to link your Nintendo Account, you have to click another drop down box on the Nintendo page, but otherwise it’s straightforward enough. If you get chosen, you will receive an email on August 7th, 2026, at 6 a.m. PT.
As the name implies, the reason for this network test is to figure out server load for when The Duskbloods launches later this year. The website specifically mentions that FromSoftware will be measuring server load, multiplayer connectivity issues, and a little bit of game balance information. The website doesn’t state what will be available in the network test, other than that it includes eight player multiplayer. We don’t know if there are friend lobbies, what enemies will be present, or which levels will be represented.
The network test, itself, runs between August 21st-23rd, 2026, with five different time slots. They are listed below:
- Aug. 21, 2026 (Fri.) 3:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. PT
- Aug. 21, 2026 (Fri.) 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. PT
- Aug. 22, 2026 (Sat.) 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. PT
- Aug. 23, 2026 (Sun.) 3:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. PT
- Aug. 23, 2026 (Sun.) 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. PT
