During today’s State of Play stream, Ubisoft officially announced Rayman Legends Retold, a 3D remake of Rayman’s final outing. Originally released in 2013 for pretty much everything, this new version swaps the 2D visuals from before for some rather fetching 3D graphics.

Set to release on October 1, 2026, for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 2, the game is mostly the same as the original save for the new 3D visuals. The game still has four-player co-op, includes different playable characters, and features those wonderful musical chase levels. We actually have a preview going up tomorrow, so we’ll save some of the details for then.

For now, you can check out the trailer that shows off how the game looks. As for how it plays, you’ll just need to wait for our more in-depth preview.
