One of the biggest pieces of news to come out of Nintendo’s major E3 press release earlier today is the confirmation of a Miitomo collaboration with the upcoming Legend of Zelda game for Wii U and NX. The Miitomo website has updated with more specifics, which we’ll go into here.
First up we have the “Retweet event”, in which Nintendo is encouraging fans to retweet any official Nintendo tweet with the hashtag #Miitomo_Zelda_RT before 8am PT June 13th. If the tweets amass more than 10,000 retweets Miitomo users will get a free hat based on Link’s new hairdo, and if they go even further and hit 20,000 tweets a hat based on Twilight Princess Link’s hair, complete with cap, will be given away too.

Next up is the confirmation of some Zelda-themed Miitomo Drop stages. There’s no specific details as to what exactly these will contain, but they’ll be made available for a mere 5 hours on June 14th, between 3pm and 7:59pm PT.
In that same time frame a special item will also be made available in the Miitomo shop, and it will cost an unspecified number of Miitomo coins.
Finally, a new My Nintendo reward will be arriving: a Miitomo outfit based on the new Legend of Zelda game. This one will be available the longest, from 3pm PT June 14th to 11:59 PT July 13th.
