Lego and Nintendo are back at it with another Animal Crossing set, this time focused on Tom Nook’s lovely nephews. Just listed on its website today, “Timmy & Tommy’s Fun Day Out” is a cute little kit that features the iconic proprietors of Nook’s Cranny exploring their village and having some fun. At 513 pieces, it’s maybe not the smallest (or largest) set around, but it recreates the charm of Animal Crossing in a way that any fan is sure to love.

Interestingly, Tommy and Timmy are not mini-figures, but fully brick built recreations. The set includes a teal piece for a river, a zen style bridge, and some flowers to place in the grass. There’s also a piece that rotates to simulate a fish swimming in the water as well as some dirt with a crack in it to mimic digging for a fossil. I love the touch with the balloon floating overhead, which is included alongside a fishing rod, some fish bait, and a flag. It really completes the illusion.

Timmy & Tommy’s Fun Day Out Lego set release date

The set is listed at $59.99 with an August 1st, 2026, release date. It might come at the end of summer vacation, but I’m sure any child in love with Animal Crossing will dig it. I almost want to get it myself, but then I’m not sure where I’d even place it.
