No matter what Pokémon game is being discussed, one of the most enticing parts is always the elusive cast of Legendary Pokémon. This sentiment extends to Pokopia as well, which, despite being a completely different style of game compared to the main series, still features an assortment of Legendary Pokémon to collect and add to your town. Seeing as the game takes place in Kanto, this naturally includes the Legendary trio of Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. Inviting these special Pokémon is quite unique, albeit not because of a lack of effort required, but that just makes it feel more satisfying once you have them all!
Unlike many of the other Legendary Pokémon, inviting the Kanto bird trio has absolutely no luck involved. That doesn’t mean it is much easier, though, as it still requires a lot of work to get all three of them. The key lies in Palette Town, the empty map found at the end of the long road connecting to Withered Wasteland. A small stone pedestal can be found on each of the three islands here, and it is at these pedestals where the special building kits necessary can be found. These include the Altar of Flame, the Abandoned Power Plant, and the Freezing Chambers, corresponding to Moltres, Zapdos, and Articuno respectively.

It should come as no surprise that finding the actual building kits is the easiest step in the process towards actually building them. For one, all three of them are massive structures, necessitating the clearing of a large amount of space, especially for the Altar of Flame. In addition, the material requirements are quite steep, though not completely unreasonable. The full list of requirements is as follows:
- Altar of Flame: 50 Copper Ingots, 50 Gold Ingots, 50 Lava Rock, 10 Pokémetal
- Abandoned Power Plant: 50 Copper Ingots, 50 Iron Ingots, 50 Sea Glass Fragments, 50 Bricks, 10 Pokémetal
- Freezing Chambers: 50 Stone, 50 Ice, 10 Crystal Fragments, 10 Pokémetal
Once an area is cleared and the materials are gathered, all that’s left to do is gather 15 total Pokémon and have them work on building it over the course of a day. From there you’re free to march inside and meet the Legendary birds you’ve worked so hard to get! Funnily enough, despite building a gigantic structure just for them, they’ll still need a separate home of their own to live in, so be sure to have a spare habitat or two once the build is complete.
